Banana Walnut Mug Cake

Happy Mug Cake Monday!! Not sure if that’s a thing, but I’ve decided it is now! I’ve been really into mug cakes recently because they’re delicious but super quick and easy to make. For breakfast today, I made a banana walnut mug cake with chocolate chips!



Here’s how:


Ingredients

1 mashed banana

1 beaten egg

2 tbsp honey

1 tbsp melted and cooled coconut oil

4 tbsp coconut flour and/or oats (I used half of each)

1 tsp baking powder

Handful of walnuts

Dash of cinnamon

Splash of vanilla

Chocolate chips


Steps

  1. Mix all ingredients together in a microwave safe mug.

  2. Microwave for 2-3 minutes, let cool, and enjoy!

I added banana slices and a spoonful of plain yogurt on top.
