I am happy as a baby on this fine Sunday, so what better stretch to do than the happy baby?
It is super fun in addition to being a great stretch, and I think it’s almost impossible not to smile or feel happy when you do this.
Just lie on your back and draw your knees into your chest. I love to pause here and rock and roll sideways and up and down your spine for a nice back massage. Then grab the insides of your feet (or hamstrings if that is more comfortable) and pull your legs out slightly. Then just roll around like a happy baby! I also like to straighten one leg at a time or both to get a hamstring stretch.
