High Five Partner Twist

Here’s a great core exercise that you can do with a friend! It really targets your obliques and is fun!

Step 1: Find a workout buddy like the lovely Miolani (link to her spotlight)!

Step 2: Stand back to back about an arms length apart.

Step 3: Both of you turn your torso (the lower body shouldn’t move) to the right and high five each other with both hands!

Step 4: Twist to the other side and repeat!

Be sure that you both turn towards the same shoulder so that you are rotating fully and using your obliques! You should never be facing the same way, so if this happens just stop and check the way you are turning. You can also intensify this by passing a weight back and forth.
