I am loving experimenting with pistachio butter (see my post here for another recipe and more information)! For breakfast today, I made a green smoothie and added pistachio butter for a creamy texture! Here's how to make this quick and easy, nutritious smoothie:
Ingredients (1 smoothie)
½ banana (you can use a whole banana if you want it thicker and sweeter)
A handful of fresh kale leaves (about 3-4 full leaves, or about ¼ cup if chopped)
A handful of spinach (about ¼ to ⅓ cup)
1 cup milk of choice
1-2 tsp vanilla extract
1 tsp cinnamon
2 tbsp pistachio butter
Steps
Blend it all together, and enjoy!
