Vegan eggnog in a jar - aka oatnog!
This is a super quick way to make a single serving of this classic holiday beverage - all you need is some oat milk, vanilla extract, maple syrup, and spices! It is great enjoyed on its own, used as milk in chia pudding or overnight oats, or with matcha for an oatnog matcha latte! You could also use other plant-based milk instead of oat, the thicker the better to mimic the eggnog texture (although of course, it won’t be as thick). It is vegan, gluten-free, nut-free, soy-free, and non-alcoholic!
Here’s the ingredients - just combine them in a jar and shake until no/minimal clumps of spice remain! Enjoy!
1 cup unsweetened oat milk
1 tablespoon maple syrup (could add 2 tbsp if you want it sweeter)
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
