Yoga Bow Pose

Channel your inner warrior with the yoga bow pose stretch! This is a great back strengthener and abdominal stretch, and a good challenge if you have mastered the locust pose.

Lay flat on your stomach and bend your knees. Lift your chest using the muscles of your lower back and reach back with your hands to catch the tops of your feet - a good challenge is to try to catch both feet at the same time. Breathe and kick your feet up toward the ceiling to lift yourself into the pose. As you inhale and exhale, you can rock gently forward and backward as if you were riding the ocean waves!
