Orange Cream baked oats - the second part of my orange-themed day!
See my compass pose stretch post for the first part!!
These baked oats are so tangy, creamy, and delicious! I prepared them last night so they were ready to go for a quick and filling lunch before my 7 hour move in shift for work as an RA. It’s going to be a long day, but starting it with barre class and these baked oats means it’s off to a good start and I have energy and positivity to keep me going!

Recipe:
Ingredients
½ cup rolled oats
1/2 mashed banana
¼ cup chopped fresh orange slices
½ cup milk (I used coconut milk)
1-2 tbsp yogurt
½ tsp cinnamon
Dash of turmeric (optional)
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
Splash of vanilla extract
About 1 tsp of chia seeds.
Steps
Lightly oil an oven safe bowl and preheat oven to 350 F.
Mix all the ingredients and pour into the bowl. I also added the juice that came out while slicing the oranges!
I put two orange slices on top before baking and saved a few more to add after.
Bake the oats for about 25 minutes until the top is golden brown.
Let cool, and add yogurt, orange slices, cinnamon, and chia seeds! Enjoy!
